아, 슈밤. 공부가 안 된다…. 얼마전 용산 미군방송(AFN, 102.7Mhz) 라디오를 듣는데, 어느 프로그램 여자MC와 여자 게스트가 브루노 마스 얘기를 하면서 자기들끼리 거의 까무러치는 것이었다. 그녀들은 그가 섹시하다고 입에 거품을 물었다. 나는 여심(女心)을 홀리는 노래를 잘 부르고 싶었으므로 브루노 마스의 대표곡 중 하나인 <just the way you are>를 연습하기로 결심했다. 그런데 이 노랠 부를 때마다 성대가 찢어지는 것 같으니 안습이다. 난 심지어 이 친구 얼굴도 오늘 거의 처음 봤다. 하와이 출신이고, 부모가 모두 음악하는 사람들이었다. 뮤직비디오도 상당히 창의적이고 센스 있다. 오디오테이프에서 뽑아낸 줄이 다양한 형상과 움직임을 만들어낸다. Erika Simmons라는 20대 아티스트의 'Ghost In The Machine' 시리즈에서 영감을 받았다고 한다. 그녀 작품과 인터뷰는 여기 가면 만나볼 수 있다.
